The NMIX-0022 is a complete system, ready to develop, or run, dedicated applications. Simply plug in the supplied wall transformer, attach a host RS-232 port, and begin programming. The user program can be stored in its internal EEPROM, battery backed RAM's, EEPROM, or user-supplied EPROM.
The "100 Squared"[tm] boards are excellent building blocks when designing systems or stand alone single board computers.
The "100 Squared"[tm] were named for their size, with 100x100mm of active component area, on a 100x160mm Eurocard format. The system is compatible with the New Micros NMIT and NMIS series computers. The VSC and the 28-pin JEDEC memory sockets have the same pinouts on all versions. Refer to the figure at the left.
Smart terminals, or personal computers with communications packages, can download source code to the NMIX-0022 via RS-232 ports. Interactive code development on the target system gives fast and efficient debugging. The built-in language gives machine level access.
The NMIX-0022 is a very cost effective solution as a development system for the 68HC11, particularly when size, CMOS low power, and ease of development are required. Few single board computers offers so many features in such a small space.
