I have some assembly code written by someone else, compiled using the TASM assembler. The result are some .S files...yea. Now I would like to load and execute these files on the MYIM-0020 board I have. I am making a guess that I have to disable the Forth editor that came with the chip? After doing that, do I need to load another editor? If I buy an external EEprom chip for socket U2, can I program it with the NYIM-0020?

Thank you

Adam

Correct me if i am wrong, TASM is the compiler for PC machine code which is not compatible for the HC11 microprocessor. If so You need AS11 or ASM6811 or any HC11 cross compiler for the NMIY-0020.

You must turn off FORTH if you want to use Buffalo monitor to load the S19 file to the SRAM on board. Buffalo S19 loader does not support EEPROM. You can load S19 with FORTH or use eprom programmer to program the EEPROM.
