Hi,

I have the NMIX/T-0020 development board, which
says it supports an LCD and a keypad.

I have an EPSON ECM A0460-4 LCD
with a 2 row connector but the J1 connector
on the board has 3 rows, Ive never used
the LCD, so Im wondering if its compatable with
my board.

What would be REALLY great is if someone
has a little .s19 file that can print something
out to an LCD. This would be great test to make
sure everything works.

I dont have a keypad nor the keypad logic chip
(U13 - MM74C923), but eventually Id like to use
a keypad. Aside from the chip is there any
other changes I would need to make to the board
to make it work with a keypad? Jumper Settings?

Thanks,
Erich

The LCD connector (J1) on the NMIY-0020 has 3 rows so as to be compatible with as many LCDs as possible. The outside rows are connected pin-for-pin with each other because some LCDs have their rows swapped.
All the displays I've used have pin 1 going to +5 and I use the rows closest to the prototyping area.
I don't have any .s19 files for you but there are Forth examples on the disk that came with the board.

I bought the board about 5 years ago, but
really didnt do much with it. Im trying to
help my nephew who shows an interest
in electronics/programming, but without
any manuals or software its a bit difficult.

Does NewMicro sell the utility disk separately?
Im sure I had it at one point, but I have no
clue what I did with it.

Thanks,
Erich
