What is the maximum number of times the program and data flash memory of servopod can be erased and written? Is it possible to run and debug the program from RAM, when connected to computer via USB cable?

I think the Freescale (Motorola) spec is now 10,000 cycles. When the chip first came out they said 100,000.
Honestly I don't know. I've never had a failure of the flash to program. I used to worry, and I've had HC12's that wouldn't got 100 cycles. But these DSPs have been rock solid. So I download as often as I like and don't worry about it.
Now in application, if you were reprogramming every minute or something, you could wear it out I suppose.
Yes, you can run out of RAM but there isn't much of it, by comparison to the amount of Flash, particularly on the ServoPod(TM).
