The problems it will not except Intel hex code using the "L" command.

Downloading procedure for 8051 monitor with MAXTERM,

Press ALT+P and make sure that the PACING character is set to DECIMAL 10 (HEX A).

At the terminal prompt, enter L

Press ALT+D then enter the HEX file to be downloaded.
