Hi,

What are the protocol settings for the RS232 channel for the Isopod?

I am trying to interface a Radiometrix-Spm2-433-28 transciever with the Isopod. The transciever has a default protocol of 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit (8n1).

I am able to recieve something at the moment but the data seems to be shifted by 1 bit...is there something I need to do with the settings?

Can anyone help me out with this?

This is a link to the spec sheet of the transceiver.

http://www.radiometrix.co.uk/products/spm2.htm

I read from another thread that physical modifications need to be made to the Isopod for TTL.

The serial interface for my transceiver is given as:

Inverted RS232 at TTL level

Does this mean I need to modify my Isopod as well?

Regards

IsoPod uses the same settings, 8N1.

The Radio module signals are TTL levels where the default IsoPod serials are RS-232 levels therefore one needs to be modified for signal compatibility. Here is my suggestions, if you decide to use the radio application with primary serial, SCI0 of the IsoPod then you should add the RS-232 transceiver as for signal converter. If you want to interface with IsoPod SCI1, you should modify the 'Pod to configure the SCI1 for TTL level. Please see the modified instruction link below,

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried to use a rs232 driver and now it works fine.

Thank you very much!
