The NMIS-0024 can accept 2 memory modules. Do these need to be the same size? We plan to install the Buffalo monitor in one and either RAM or an EEPROM in the other. The jumper settings shown in the limited manual, are somewhat confusing in this regard. Thanks

You don't have to use the same size on both memory devices, but you must jumper the device accordingly to its size. Let says, you want to install the buffalo, 8-Kbyte on board (U3), and you want to to install 32-Kbyte of ram on the other socket (U2). You must config the jumper A & B for 32K devices (both need to be jumpered from center pin toward +5V. On the F jumpers you must have the jumper installs on the 4th row and the 8th row. Also the jumpers locate below the ram (U2) must config for 32K Ram and the jumpers below the buffalo monitor (U3) must config for 8K devices (assume the buffalo s19 file is burned in the 8K eprom).

Thanks. I figured it could be done some how. Regarding the Buffalo chip, doesn't it need to be
at memory location $E000? or is it $8000?

The buffalo resides from 0xE000 - 0xFFFF. This 8-Kbyte is also including the reset vector. If you burn the buffalo.s19 file into the 8k eprom you do not need to offset, but to burn it into a 32K eprom you must offset the file(S19) on the top 8k, 0x6000 - 0x7FFF.
