View Full Version : Hc11 + Lm629
I am a trying to build a controlnsystem for a servo motor using the LM629 chip with the m68hc11 microcontroller. I have the NMIS-L-0021B and the corresponding NMII-0232 connector. I have these questions:
1. Can I use a IAR embbedded compiler?
1a., IF so can how do I connect it together?
2. How can I connect the HC11 to the LM629?
Anyother help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Chris, I am not familiar with the IAR compiler, but as long as it is an HC11 cross compiler then it should work.
2. How can I connect the HC11 to the LM629?
There are alot of work involve, if you decide to do it by yourself. You can go to national semiconductor and look for LM629 appnotes. This will provide you enough info to build your own circuit. On the other hand, i can save you sometimes if it is too much work for you. Currently We have the NMIS/L-7056 with the LM629 servo driver in stock that can be interfaced with the NMIS/L-0021B. Just Plug and Play (Program). You may save your time to wire up by call our sales dept. (214)339-2204 or email to nmisales@newmicros.com and ask for Special Winter Saving deal.
