Part number for power connector.

Hi.

I am an engineer using the NMIX-0020-S1 kit in one of our projects.

However, I need to place an order to the connector to provide power (J2).

Judging by the board layout, I assume that this is not a standard .100 header. What part do I need to order to be able to create a plug to connect to J2?

J2 is 0.2 in center to center hole, it designed for power wires solder direct on board or to use with the 2 pin terminal block. You can order from NMI, or Mouser part # 651-1729018 should work.

Would it be possible to order this part such that it came already soldered on the board.

Having you solder it would save an unbelivable amount of paperwork to get our manufacturing dept. to install it.

Just tell me what part # to use, and the price.

I agree with you, but for other applications terminal block is not the solution. Some prefer right angle connector, others want straight up connector, or a specific manuafacture, etc... That is the reason we leave it open for option. However, you can always order a fully populated board or request with your own setup at the time of purchase.
