OK-I've figured something out. The Motorola M68EVB912B32 Serial Loader doesn't work with the NMIL-0012! I'm using Micro-IDE from Bipom Electronics in Houston. They don't currently sell a serial loader that will wait for the * character before sending the next record. Can anyone recommend a terminal or serial loader program for Win2K that will do the trick? Hyperterm doesn't seem to have that capability.
Cheers,
Adam

I tested it works on Win98 and i don't have win2k to test with. Maybe you can try these setups on HyperTerminal with your Win2K,

- Set the Baudrate for 9600

- Set the delay line for 100ms

- Checks box, Wraps line that exceed terminal width so that you can see the programming cursor (*) moving. (Remember to uncheck this box when you are done).

- All other configurations just leave as default.

MAXTERM, DOS based terminal program also works fine with NMIL-0012. Email me at nmitech@newmicros.com if you don't mind to work with DOS program.

It works! I managed to toggle an output with a program. Thanks!

I thought I might add that Bipom has written an-S-record loader especially for this boot-loader and it works great. It's a component of their Micro-IDE development environment. I'm putting in a good word for them since they wrote the loader at my request and did so for free! They have been very helpful and I would recommend their products.
