I use the NMIX 0016.
1. Is there a way to trace or debug the program using maxterm. I use assembly language to program and a kiel assembler to compile the assembly code.
2. Is it possible to use the Kiel MON51 program with this controller board...would it work... by just swapping the eprom and try to use MON51?
Thanks

The monitor on board does not have debug capability. I will check with Dunfield software, if the author give me permission to send out his monitor hex file. Email me at nmitech@newmicros.com i will keep you posted.

I don't think the Kiel MON51 can be dropped in replacement due to the hardware memory maps are different. You can try to swap it out and see. It will not damage the system.

Sorry, The Dunfield 8051 Monitor Hex file is not free for distribution. Please contact the author direct at dave@dunfield.com for licensing info. Dunfield 8051 monitor has debug capability and it is compatible with the NMIX/T-0016 board.
