I recently ordered NMIN-0912.
Now I am not able to connect to the board using HyperTerminal.
The serial cable I have made has Female connection on one side (goes into Rs-232 on PC) and male connection on the other side which goes into the board. The following are the pin connections:
Male-Pin2 <-> Female-Pin3
Male-Pin3 <-> Female-Pin2
Male-Pin5 <-> Female-Pin5
Rest of the pins have no connections at all.
Now in hyperterminal I have specified the following:
Baud Rate: 9600
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: Hardware
But I get nothing back from the board when I press the reset button on the board.
I have checked that the board actually has +5V by connecting a volt meter to power and ground pins on the LCD (J4 Connector).
