Disk Contents

I am very interested in the NIMT/X-0016, but I have been unable to find the contents of the accompanying disk listed on your site. In fact, although I see there is a disk with the 8031 based cards, I am not sure if one comes with the 80535 cards.<br>1) Does the NIMX-0016 come with a disk?<br>2) If so what is on it, in particular are there any compilers, assemblers, emulators, etc.?<br>3) If such things are not included with the NIMX-0016, what is available? BTW, I am a hobbiest with limited funds, so public domain, shareware, or very cheap software is really what I am interested in. I looked at Keil, and while there stuff looks truly spectacular, it is way out of my price range.<p>Please excuse if I am ill informed, but this is my first MCU project.<p>Thanks in advance!

I recently purchased a nmix 0016 for my research purposes. It comes with an accompanying disk which has maxterm on line debugger, pseudo sam assembler level 1, maxforth, small c and basic compilers. But I have problems with maxterm assembler as it is not that friendly. moreover, to my knowledge, it is not possible to do a single step debug with this on line monitor mode, especially for people who program using assembly language.<p>I was using kiel compiler with a german made board using 80c535. can any one tell me whether this board nmix 0016 is compatible with the kiel compiler...is there a way by which we could make it compatible...as the starter says, Ive found kiel is spectacular and so easy to work...very friendly....clement<p>----------<br>The fear of the Lord is<br> the beginning of wisdom
