Hi,

I've seen that a SmallC is availabe for the IsoPod, but I was wondering if was possible (via the JTAG port) to backup the IsoPod prior to using SmallC and then restoring the IsoMax at a later date.

I would like to evaluate both programming languages with the IsoPod.

Regards,

PJE

Yes! SmallC now available for IsoPod(TM) at:

http://home.attbi.com/~petegray/dsp-1-0.zip

courtesy of a cooperative effort between New Micros, Inc. and programmer Peter Gray!

Small C is based on Jim Hendrix Small C and in the spirit of Jim's offering, remains a public domain offering. The assembler is however not public domain.

Yes, it is possible to reload the IsoMax(TM) kernel with the JTAG. We will provided the IsoMax(TM) Kernel to customers with a license/nondisclosure agreement. Contact sales to make arrangements, if interested.
