I have been playing with an Isopod v1 loaded with Isomax v0.2 for a few of monthes now, late last week I recieved an Isopod v2 loaded with Isomax v0.5. I can't seen to get a program wich works fine on the v1 work on the v2, the MaxTerm just stops loading the program at line 117 and displays no error meassage. I have tried editing the beginning of the program to make use of the new analog and pwm words incorporated into v0.5 but still the same problem. Where it stops loading depends on how many lines I remove from the beginning of the program, so it doesn't seem to be any particular line of code. It seems more like it's running out of memory, but it's hard to beleive it will only fit a little over 100 lines of code. Any Ideas on cause? I have attached the original version of my V1/v0.2 working code in case it helps.
Thank you,

I dont' seem to be able to download your code, so I'll just have to guess.
In your code, did you move the definitions from program RAM (which is very small) into program flash with EEWORD? My first guess is we used more RAM and you don't have enough left for a program that used to fit.

O.K. I am trying to attach the program again, this time from home, the server at work may have filtered it out; our I.S. department's solution to guarding against viruses is to block just about everything.
I have tried, repeatedly, using SCRUB and editing the program with EEWORD ect. acording to the documentation and it still hangs half way through loading the program. After trying repeatedly, I have suceeded in hosing it up compleatly! Now all I get is hieroglyphics scrolling down the screen. Cycling power does not change the garbled text; even jumpering pins 2&4 on J3 does no good; It still speaks Egyptian. :-( Is there any other way to clear out EPROM? Would a JTAG cable and some sort of utility work?

proto pro,
You must have IsoMax V0.5 installed in order to bypass the autostart or recover the IsoMax prompt when the application program is crashed.
To recover the IsoMax's prompt, jumper SCLK/PE4 signal to GND,
IsoPod_V1, J3 pin 2 & 4
IsoPod_V2, J5 pin 2 & 4
then reset the IsoPod and enter SCRUB to erase the user's program in flash.
To upgrade the IsoMax V0.5, please email to nmiproduction@newmicros.com to obtain a RMA # and instruction for return.
Also please email your attachment program to me at nmitech@newmicros.com. Some how the forum did not work with the attachment files. Thanks!
