I test the A/D ports today. When I tune the input voltage to about 10 V, the LEDs became very bright and then dark. It seems that the IsoPod was destroyed. When I turn on the power again, the IsoPod doesn't work and one of the voltage regulator became very hot. It seems the current is larger than before.
Can you tell me how to test which component is destroyed? Whether you can help me to repair it?
And also I want to know why the A/D input can't be higer than 10 V?

One more question, I want to buy another ServoPod, when will it be available?

The limits on the voltage which may be applied to the A/D inputs are 3V. The A/D inputs go directly to the processor chip itself. I'm very sad to have to tell you, higher will cause the processor to be destroyed.

If you look at the electrical specs near the end of the manual, you'll see:

Analog Inputs ANAx, Min VSS – 0.3 Max VDDA + 0.3V

In other words, the voltage on the pin should not go more than a Schottky diode drop beyond the negative rail, or the 3V positive rail.

The processor chip is very difficult to replace. Without destroying the lands on the board.

We normally have stock on new IsoPod(TM)s these days, or just a few days from finished product. Shipping would likely be the longest delay

(ServoPod?)

Hopefully the Production of ServoPod(TM) will be available in the next 4 weeks or so...
