Using Two Serial Ports on NMIX-0022

I want to interface a Protek DMM and a HP-48 calculator to the NMIX-0022 using RS-232 ports. Does anybody have tips or a short example of software so I can get the idea of how to read and write to the second port? Just looking for a flying start here. I do have experience with the board and FORTH on it.

... already. I guess I was just being lazy after being away from this for a few years! I checked the schematic and I get how to hook up for a second serial port using PD2 and PD3 to drive it.

Can anyone point me toward a method to switch the Forth system between these ports as needed.

Guess I'm still a bit lazy ??!
