Big Mistake!! Please Help!!!!

ive tryed to make an autostart application, i typped in the SAVE-RAM comment and then i do a reset. now the isopod is blocking my out! i have the V0.3 so i cant bypass the application!! is there an other hint that i can SCRUB ?? i need the prozessor in 1 week for my presentation of the project, PLEASE HELP!!!! i cannot type any command, the isopod does not respond my with a "OK". how long did i must leave it powerless till the memory is blanked??

Hey Eyeman,
With V 0.3 and earlier, the autostart can be a bit of a problem. One option would be to return the IsoPod here to be reflashed, then in a few days it would return to you with the ability to be taken out of the Autostart routine with a jumper between SCLK and ground.

Another option would be to purchase a 10 pin JTAG from us, and the associated license agreement, and then be able to reflash new updates of IsoMax as they appear. The quicker option would be to work with the JTAG, purchasable on our website from the IsoPod button, about half way down the page labeled JTAG-Cable-10P . The license agreement is linked further up the page under IsoMax-DSP . This could be shipped to you within a few days, as opposed to a few days for the IsoPod to come back, then another few days for it to return.

Sometimes I have recovered from bad autostarts by just resetting often and trying to type SCRUB <return>, right away before anything else. Eventually, depending on how badly the autostart or saved ram is configured, it will come back and SCRUB itself. Which is why you should always be careful autostrarting, and save it for the very last thing when you're sure you know what you're doing.

Of course, since none of us are perfect (I already told you I personally have made bad autostarts too) we have made some advances in the software development, such as the bypass of the autostart when certain pins are jumpered.

This is a good reason to check with us, and get your 'Pod updated to our latest version.

Very long, possible an eon. It's in Flash now. SAVE-RAM moves a copy of the user table in RAM into Flash.

I got him at january.

How much would it cost, to update toa new version (0.5 i think) including shipping?
And if i take the JTAG with the licence, i can update the newest version. Am i right?

Yes, Once you have the JTAG cable and sign for the IsoMax license you can upgrade any newer version when we send you a srecord through email.
