Hi-
I am a struggling EE student who is fairly new at programming the HC11. I ordered the NMIN-0021A board for a project I am attempting to build for school.
I am a little bit frustrated by the lack of documentation for this board. I have scoured the docs that came with the board to no avail. What I am looking for is some pinout diagrams for the 42-pin male connector on the side of the board opposite the 25-pin serial connector. The connector is labeled "J9" on the NMIN-0021A board.
We are attempting to use this connector to connect our chip to some other circuitry but thus far have been forced to reverse-engineer every pin that we've wanted to use. This is a slow and frustrating experience.
Is there a better way? Even if it was just in list form like:
pin 1 = Ground
pin 2 = Vcc
pin 27= 6811portA bit 1
... (etc)
(Those are bogus values, but you get my point)
Is there anything out there like this? Has someone already charted out these waters? Any and all help would be immensely appreciated.
Thanks much.
-Peter
(starving EE student at University of Utah)
