View Full Version : state machine graphics
Hi, I'm looking for a good state-machine graphics program. I have found Visio and an Eclipse plugin, but I'm hoping there is better software out there. Does anyone know of any other better, free diagram-constructing programs?

I certainly don't know of any free state diagramming packages.
We did develop, but not release, a IsoMax(TM) Diagrammer (State Description Language) that drew drawings and output compilable IsoMax(TM) code. But even when and if we release it, it won't be free.
I discovered GraphViz (http://www.graphviz.org/). It's a free program from AT&T that can be used to generate state diagrams from a text file. I was looking for something that lets you edit state diagrams in place (after they're generated graphically) though. I guess I'll stick to chalk and a blackboard.
