View Full Version : Learning forth for the NYM-0031

I have a book called forth-83 which covers forth for data base applications and pc applications. What I need is information on forth that applies to sbc like the -0031 because I am having trouble programming the -0031 for a data aquisition system ( with rs-485 com.). Does anyone know wher I can find information to help me?

You can use the HC11 & HC12 FORTH definitions, I/O glossary on the link below for the NMIY-0031 programming reference. The differrences are hardware memory maps, and EE-words which don't support on the NMIY-0031. That means you have to develop your code on Ram, then use the intel hex uploader program provided to capture your code and FORTH image combined to burn a new eprom to replace the Max-FORTH eprom.
