Hi
I recently purchased a servopod-serial. It was working fine for sometime. But suddenly, it has stopped responding to the keyboard commands. When resetted, the servopod shows Isomax v0.82 on the NMITerm screen. Other than this there is no response.
These are the things I have already tried
1. Bypassing autostart by connecting pins 2 and 4 on J3.
2. checked multiple power sources.
Could you please help me out ?

Sometimes the PC is what is locked up. Close and restart NMITerm.
Also try wrapping back the Tx to the Rx pins on the RS-232 and ensure what you type can come back to the PC without the ServoPod or it's cable in position.
It is always good to check the serial cable. A broken wire RX wire to the PC would give you that effect. So try the loop back at the ServoPod(TM) end of the cable as well
Next most likely, as you have already tried, you need to bypass the autostart.
Finally, since you are getting the sign on message, it means a great deal of the ServoPod is still working. But there is a chance something in the kernel got scrambled. Sometimes reloading the kernel will help. You can send it back to us and we will reflash the kernel, or if you have the JTag and a signed license agreement, you can reflash the kernel for yourself.

Thanks for the reply!
I have the JTAG cable required to flash the kernel but I don't have Isomax.
Since I am in India, I won't be able to send the Servopod back to you for reflashing. Is it possible for me to buy Isomax for repeated use rather than for a single use ? What will be the cost for such an arrangement?

If you have the JTAG already, we just need a signed license agreement and $20 (iirc) to send you the image.
Now this is so you can reload your existing products you've gotten from us and reload them any time you need. However, this not a license to copy for multiple uses.
