Hello,

You'll have to forgive me if this is a very naive question, but I'm a graduate student who is new to using psyscope, and I've been running into problems trying to build my own experiment. I have a lot of audio stimuli, so I'd like to use the file list option. I've created a txt. file which I believe is written properly, but I am getting an error code when I try to run the experiment. The error number is SND08 which says the sound type is not supported. I have converted all my files to .aiff however, so I'm confused as to why this is happening. Could anyone shed some light!!?

"F1EnAngerSen3.aiff @ :::::Applications:PsyScope X B53:Ratings Task:Sound Files:"
This is how I've written the txt. file, perhaps I'm not following the correct conventions?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

I'm sorry, but this really isn't the place to ask. Our arrangement was to manufacture the devices, the hardware, but we have never had a hand in the writing or maintaining the software. Those were all CMU creations. Your problem is one of software on the PC/Mac side.

Perhaps you can find out more through the CMU support channels.
