View Full Version : NMIH-0030 at 3V?

In the manual for the NMIH-0030, the bullet-list at the beginning
says that the logic is compatible with either 5V or 3V operation,
but the table at the end shows the low end of VIH being 3.6V,
uncomfortably far above the 3.3V I expected. Have I missed
something?

(Motivation: I'd like to know if I'll have the option of running
Version 2 of my thingie with a TiniARM (@3.3V).)

The front end of the H-Bridge is buffering by the VHCT50A. This chip is the volatge shifter from 3 to 5V.

The combination (TiniARM+NMIH-0030) works great.

(But you knew that (:-))).

Thanks for the good news. Such news is just as appreciated as, well, the announcement of "opportunities" to do better. ;)
