I sent sales@newmicros.com an e-mail and haven't heard from them. I'm trying to figure out if the message never made it, or if they're just busy.

Here's what I asked:

I'm in the middle of imbedding a servopod into a custom controller. Is it possible to have the board populated with the header pins on the BOTTOM instead of the top? Also, can the power switch and the DE-9F connector be replaced with header pins (again exiting on the BOTTOM)? To eliminate some of the friction and alignment problems with the servo pins, only bring out one or two grounds and V+ connections instead of the V+ & Ground for every PWM/Timer output. I'm not driving servos so I really don't need that feature.

I want to plug the servopod into my board as a mezzanine board. This will allow the LEDs to remain visible and allow the voltage regulators to be in the cooling air stream.

Thanks,

Rick

Rick.

nmisales@newmicros.com is the right email address. Dave will contact you shortly.

We should be able to assemble a special version for you just like you requested. Most of the time, price will be the same. But it will take us a few days to modified the existing board or assemble the new custom board just as you desired.
