Just wondering if a little roadmap about IsoMax could be shared

I am running a custom V0.6 on a IsoPod V2 with the default baud rate changed to 38400, but saw two things:

a 0.61 / V0.63 version mentioned here:

This post where Randy talks about a problem fixed with Isomax > V0.6
http://www.newmicros.com/discussion/showthread.php?threadid=850

What is supposed to be fixed into the next releases ?

TIA,

Giuseppe Marullo

Well, the short story... We have found V.61 the most stable and best documented. So that's what we are shipping in IsoPod(TM), ServoPod(TM) etc. We like to release on whole numbers, but in V.6 we found a slight bug, and V.61 was necessary.

Internally we have lots of intermediate releases, and most of these are for our own development and testing purposes. Occassionally these are let out as Betas to customers we have a working relationship with, knowing some features may be added, then taken back out later, as we search for the best combination of language and fit to the FLASH we've allotted for language.

However, we needed additional features (indexable pins) when we came out with the TiniPod(TM) and Plugapod(TM) and those features weren't in V.61, but they were in version V.73, So on the TiniPod(TM) and Plugapod(TM) to be able to use the I/O pins as sequential rather than the spread out group they are, we installed V.7x (which ever is current latest).

Ultimately we approach V1 and everyone that wants to be should be updated to V1. Along the way, out on the "bleeding edge" we try some things, which aren't fit for general consumer consumptions.

Now, all that said, we're getting pretty happy with the late V.7x versions, and will probably close out the V1.0 of the language soon. We might consider a V.8 first, but haven't finally decided.

In the mean time, we've already begun work on V2.0 which we've managed to kick up to approximately 1 MIP high level language instruction interpretation (roughly a 5X improvement in execution speed). We don't have a release date for V2.0, however, it will require a new license fee to help pay for this extended development.

And where to find the V0.61 for those who signed the agreement of an older version?
