PID - 7056 emulation

Hi,
Before I reinvent the wheel, has someone sat down and written a PID control loop algorithium for Forth? My needs are not fast, 3 updates a second should do fine. I would like to stay away from the 7056 board to save power and size.

If you go to Downloads/Pods and look down in app notes, there's a PID Controls example for the DSP processors. It also has dual motion controls. But the basic frame work is there if you want to extract it.
